Clayton grew up in the Regina area before attending the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College
where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science with a Specialization in Fish and Wildlife
Technology.
Clayton stepped into the mining industry after 12 years as an environmental consultant and certified
infrared optical gas imaging specialist throughout Alberta and Sasaktchewan. As a registered Professional
Agrologist and active Commissioner for Oaths in Saskatchewan, he now hangs his hat in the Estevan area
as the Senior Environmental Planner with Westmoreland Mining Holdings LLC – Estevan Mine.
